Karen Dunlap, Executive Vice President
Karen Dunlap has worked in the travel industry
since 1976. Karen earned her degree in Business
Management, with an emphasis on Personnel, from
the University of Maryland. Her entry into the
travel industry as an agent trainee, more than
twenty years ago, has led to a succession of
increasingly challenging positions, culminating
in her current role as Executiv Vice President.
As a Executive Vice President, working
closely with the President and the Vice President,
Karen has strongly influenced the development of a
more "structured" environment
at TSG, including; an employee productivity program
with bonus incentives, the employee of the month
award, the annual employee awards program, a
new employee orientation program, a measurable
quality controls program, standardized employee
performance review procedures, and a revised
policy and procedures manual. In addition, Karen
oversees the management and staff of TSG. Karen's
background in personnel management has given
her the skills and abilities to successfully
develop and carry out the necessary training
and developmental programs for the TSG staff.
Karen has worked hard to empower the branch managers
and encourages them to use a strong "team
oriented" approach
to servicing the needs of their valued clients.
Karen's gift for recognizing talent has
resulted in TSG's employing some of the most
talented and productive agents in the Washington metropolitan
area. It is Karen's belief that "We are what we sell and
we are the best!"

Patricia Sullivan, Vice President
Pat Sullivan has been in the travel industry for
over 27 years. Pat has gained extensive industry knowledge during
her 27-year career in the field. Prior to forming Travel Solutions
Group, Pat was one of 3 owners of a travel management consulting
company which was dedicated to providing industry resources inclusive
of the management of outsourced corporate travel programs, travel
professional placement, travel industry training, travel operations
management strategies and creating industry products.
Before forming the consulting company, Pat was Senior Vice President,
Sales and Operations of a large regional travel management company,
where her responsibilities included client relations' development,
T&E policy consulting, vendor negotiations, financial analysis,
and project management.
Her career in travel has also included 8 years with American Express
Travel Management Services where her responsibilities included Corporate
Card sales, service and implementation, and Group and Meeting and
Incentive Sales as well as industry training.
As Vice President, Pat is instrumental in identifying potential
business partners that are well suited to the resources of our organization.
She works with co-owner, Claire Simmons and senior management to
determine how we can best partner together to meet and exceed client
objectives.
